他是個基督徒，
曾經是年收入80萬美金、開Jaguar的大公司CEO
在文章最後，標題為「Do what you can」下面
引了一段Stearns說的話：
「If I can help just one person, it's worth it.
If two, even better.
There are REAL people.
If you put yourself in the position of the dreadfully poor,
how would you feel if someone in America says,
'You can never eradicate poverty,
so why bother?'」
（中譯：如果我能幫助一個人，那就值得了。
如果能幫助兩個人，那更好。
把你自己放在那些極其貧困的人的處境，
如果你聽到一個美國人說：
「反正貧窮是不可能永遠消滅的，
管他呢～」
你會有什麼感受？）
最後還有一句話，是世展會的創始人Bob Pierce說的：
「Don't fail to do something
just because you can't do everything.」
（中譯：不要因為你不能做所有的事，
而放棄做一些事。）
