to convey to the Athenian audience of their day? Today, which play is
more appealing to the reader?
2. Scholars generally agree that Athenian tragedy was performed exclusively
by men, ant it is likely that it was performed solely for men as well.
Discuss the representation of women in "Agamemnon" and "Medea" to explain
what makes them feel so.
