BOSSA NOVA是葡萄牙文，BOSSA是雙人舞曲的一種，NOVA是新的意思，用英文解釋是NEW
BEAT，新節奏是也。它屬於Latin Jazz，即融合巴西流行音樂風格（Samba）的爵士樂.跟
傳統南美及拉丁音樂不一樣的是Bossa Nova不像森巴或倫巴舞曲一樣節奏強烈且煽情，以
巧妙的省略音符加上切分音效果，結合拉丁節奏的動感，結構上和美國西岸酷派爵士樂風
格有相似，因此它有著南美音樂的熱情風味卻多了慵懶及輕鬆，宛如千面女郎，有清晨的
清新，午後的慵懶，夜晚的深情及子夜的憂鬱 ……
介紹一下這首歌的主唱Eydie Gorme
Eydie Gorme 是一位美籍猶太裔女歌手，1931年生於紐約。一首《Blame it on the
Bossa Nova》早已家傳戶曉，她在1967年終於得嚐素願，獲格林美音樂獎的
BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE, FEMALE。從此奠下在歌壇上的地位。
她與墨西哥三人組Los Panchos,從1964年起接連推出：《Amor (w/ Trio Los Panchos,
1964) 》、《More Amor (w/ Trio Los Panchos, 1965) 》、《Navidad Means Christmas
(w/ Trio Los Panchos, 1966) 》、《Canta en Español (w/ Trio Los Panchos, 197
