轉錄李吉仁老師的信.. 有點長..
Hi,
你們班有人有興趣參加國際創業競賽嗎?
JR
Dear Prof Lee,
There is business plan competition organized by NUS and INSEAD. Do you have
any students eligible for this event? I saw on your department website a
while ago that some IB students were competition award winners...but the
information is no longer posted.
Plz let me know if you or your colleagues have suitable recommendation;
otherwise, I will check with Prof 溫肇東 at 政大。
Rgds,
Jennifer
Dear Jennifer ,
I would like to get your help on another matter. Our centre at NUS,
together with INSEAD, will be jointly organizing a Global StartUp@Singapore
Business Plan Competition on 27-28th Oct. 2003 in Singapore. This event
will be part of a week long Global Entrepolis mega events on Innovation
and Entrepreneurship, pl see attached information on Global Entrepolis.
The Global Start-Up @ Singapore Competition is an invitation-only event
organised jointly by National University of Singapore (NUS)
Entrepreneurship Centre and INSEAD as part of the Global
Entrepolis@Singapore event in October 2003. This inaugural event will bring
together the winning teams from the world's best schools and business plan
competitions to present their business plans to a distinguished panel of
international judges comprising prominent VCs and entrepreneurs.
Top teams from US, Europe, and Asia, and last but not least, the winner of
the Startup@Singapore competition will compete for cash prizes as well as
participate in the various educational and networking activities of Global
Entrepolis. Global Start-Up@Singapore will be a unique learning experience
, bringing together in Singapore the 'creme de la creme' from the world's
leading education institutions and linking them up with global
entrepreneurial leaders, venture investors and deal makers.
We will cover local accommodation and most meal expenses for the period of
the competition (26-28th Oct.). depending on the amount of corporate
sponsorship we are able to raise, we may also be able to subsidize part of
the air travel cost for up to 3 team members of the winning team from
Taiwan (two student team members and one faculty advisor).
I believe this will be a wonderful opportunity for the student team to
not only participate in a truly global competition with the world's best
universities to vie for attractive prizes, but also for them to network
with the many prominent Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, Successful
Entrepreneurs and Captains of Industry from around the world. The team
will also have the opportunity to make pitches to investors on Tuesday
28th afternoon, to participate in the Monte Jade Overseas Chinese business
networking session on the 28th, and a Business Angel Networking Night on
29th. Wednesday.
As we are limiting the number of participating teams to only the top
universities around the world, please advise which top universities in
Taiwan with business plan competition that we should invite?
Or is there a national level business plan competition that we should
invite the winner from?
Best regards,
Poh Kam
