The Audio/Video/Film Department in the School of Communication at
Hofstra University is pleased to begin accepting applications for the
Master of Fine Arts degree in Documentary Studies and Production. We
are currently accepting applications for students entering in Fall 2007.
this program is designed to teach students the critical, analytical,
and practical tools for producing documentaries. In combining studies
and production, the program reflects a balance between critical inquiry
and technical skill, while stressing the importance of aesthetics,
ethics, and humanistic values through personal, creative expression.
