Guys,
What I didn't have time to remind you again in today's class: For the
IDE questions, you are required to spell out the full name and full title of
the source of the excerpts. This is meant as 送分題 (to ensure you a
guaranteed score), so please take note of the names as you prepare for the
exam.
Also, please try to remember the names of the major characters (if
they have names) so you can clearly express what you want to elaborate on in
your answers. I won't penalize you if you always say "the male protagonist"
or "the woman who taught the male protagonist his catechism," but it's truly
very tiring to write and read such long, sometimes confusing sentences.
Finally, it's OK to write with either a pen or a pencil, and you're welcome
to use a dictionary. Good luck with all your midterms!
