沒有全部 這些只是比較重要的
Leukocytes:
(a) Neutrophils: 5000/mL adult, when infectino occurs, ↑ 2~3 fold.
‧Can live only for few days.
‧When infected, migrate immediately to the place.
‧Granule contain: lysosome, lacto ferrin, acid hydrolase.
‧Myeloperoxidase: produce lethal oxidants hydrochlorous acids.
‧Degranualation: destroy bacteria. Redness and pain of infected area.
(b) Eosinophils: 250/mL
‧5% of leukocytes, granule larger than neutrophilc granules.
‧Eosin-stained basic protein destructive enzyme.
‧Kill only protozoa, fungi, acute worms, etc.
(c) Basophils: 40/mL The rarest and the least.
‧Can't phagocytosis
‧Important for productio of heparin and histamine.
* Heparin: 抗凝區, 避免血液於血管內凝固
* Histamine: 過敏反應
Monocytes and Macrophages:
‧About 400/mL
‧Mononuclear members of the phagocytic cell family
‧Phagocytes: consuming foreign materials within minutes.
Three types of macrophages:
1. Wandering macrophages: attack microorganisms
2. Fixed macrophages: remain permently in a particular tissue
3. Actived macrophage: can produce NO from Argining
* Arginine: kill microorganisms
Two types of inflammations:
1. Acute inflammation: normal tissue damaged
2. Chronic inflammation: disordier immune response
