2007 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Morgan Stanley Taiwan provides a full range of services,
including investment banking (capital raising and M&A advisory),
institutional equity and research, facilitating equity transactions
for both local and foreign institutional clients through its
membership of the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the GreTai
Securities Market.
Due to our continuing expansion in the Taiwan market,
we are offering summer internship programs in the
following five divisions:
Consolidated Equity:
Consolidated Equity most commonly trades Equity securities
(stocks). The two main product areas within Equities are Core
Equity and Equity Derivatives.
Equity Research:
Equity Research analysts model and forecast the factors
influencing financial instruments. They provide sophisticated
quantitative and qualitative analysis to both internal and
external clients.
Firm Management:
Firm Management promotes cross selling across
divisions, assists with business development and
planning strategic initiatives, and helps to promote and
maintain healthy regulator and governmental relations.
Investment Banking:
Investment Banking advises corporations and governments on
various financing and strategic issues. It gets involved in a
variety of projects including mergers & acquisitions, flotations,
privatization, raising finance and issuing shares.
Private Wealth Management:
This is a specialized area of asset management (fund
management) and has been dedicated to serving
high-net-worth individuals, families, and their intermediaries.
The position will be based in Hong Kong.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
* Internsive 10 week program in Taiwan, commencing beginning of July
2007
* You will receiving continuing on-the-job training throughout the
summer and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals
and meaningful projects
* You will interact closely with a range of Morgan Stanley professionals,
from junior to senior level, in both work and social environments
Summer Interns who have consistently performed beyond expectation may
receive full-time offers, to commence the following year.
REQUIREMENTS
* You must graduate between December 2007 & July 2008 with outstanding academic background and a keen
interest in the financial markets
* You will possess both oral and written fluency in English
and Mandarin
