| > Greetings from the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore (GMS)! The
| > GMS is honored to have an opportunity to organize a Student Outreach
| > Seminar at NTU:

| > Title : Training Physician-Scientists for the Biomedical Age
| > Date : 9 May 2007 (Wednesday)
| > Time : 6.30 pm - 8 pm
| > Venue: : Auditorium, The 3rd Floor, Life Science Building, NTU

| > The GMS is a strategic collaboration between the Duke University (North
| > Carolina State, US) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). The
| > GMS follows the US Medical Education system and therefore invites
| > applicants who will have a Bachelor degree (or higher) from any discipline
| > to apply.

| > Upon completion of its 4 year coursework, graduates of GMS will receive a
| > MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree that is jointly conferred by Duke
| > University and the National University of Singapore (NUS).

| > The GMS has various scholarships and financial aid packages for its
| > admitted students. For students who are selected for the MD/PhD course,
| > they will also receive stipends on top of the full scholarship during the
| > MD/PhD term.
