Dear All,

    As I mentioned in the class more than two weeks ago, I like to have a
lunch meeting with some students from your class so as to better understand
the difficulties you may have encountered in your learning of Analytical
Chemistry. Thanks to your 班代‘s effort on arranging the time and making
contacts, we had such a lunch discussion today. It was a pleasant discussion
and I thank those students who spent time with me in the lunch.

    About some discontentment that is still lingering related to the
ten-minute exam-time difference between the two exam classes in the Second
Midterm. I appreciate your bringing this issue to my attention after I
returned from my conference trip and fully understand the feeling the
students on the shorter-exam-time class have. As I discussed in the lunch
today, I would be very much willing to take whatever the reparative measure
your entire class agrees upon. Please let me know such a reparative measure
as soon as possible.

    Among other things discussed today, one was related to the fact that some
students in your class do like to have a project set to help preparing the
upcoming Final exam. In comply with the good intention of learning,I have
prepared aproject set and you can pick it up at the TA’s office by 10:05 am
tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. There is NO due day for this project set,
though.

    I like to stress again that I welcome very much your discussion with me
whenever you feel the need for finding helps to learn better Analytical
Chemistry or to get over some difficulties you have in life. Please do not
hesitate to do so.
