Another thing about the NBA rule.
During the last 2 minutes of the game, if you foul a player without the
ball (example: Bowen) then Spurs can choose any player to shoot 1 shot.
Then, they can get another position and inbound from the sideline.
This rule is there to PREVENT the use of "intentional foul" or "Hack-a-Shaq"
during last few minutes of the game.
The reason for this rule was WILT CHAMBERLAIN.
you can let Chemberlain shoot 200 freethrows. Maybe he can only make
100 or less since his FT% is around 50%. and the opponent can still win
the game. Many teams in the past tried to keep fouling Chamberlain. So
NBA tried to add this rule to prevent this situation.
Without this rule, many teams will keep fouling Ben Wallace etc...
