(以下說明全部以windows XP為例，我相信用unix-like的人不用我特別教)
底下舉網路慢當例子
開始 => 執行 => 打cmd [enter] => tracert xxx(覺得慢的伺服器ip or domain name)
如tw.yahoo.com
然後看到Trace complete.的時候按右鍵
選標記從Tracing route to...拉到Trace complete.
然後按右鍵或[Enter]然後複製到BBS上或存成純文字檔寄給我
如果是看到 * * * Request timed out.
按ctrl + c
然後其他步驟同上然後寄給我就可以了
正常情況如下
Tracing route to vip1.tw.tpe.yahoo.com [202.1.237.21]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 3 ms <1 ms <1 ms router1.m7.ntu.edu.tw [140.112.249.254]
．．．．．．
11 5 ms 7 ms 5 ms vip1.tw.tpe.yahoo.com [202.1.237.21]
Trace complete.

不正常情況1
如果xx在30以上這代表出男七的時候就有問題
原因可能是有人中毒，或其他原因

2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms ru250.cc.ntu.edu.tw [140.112.149.250]

不正常情況2
由下可以斷定是慢在yyyyyy到下一個router之間這時候可以試著走別的路
(如工作站或proxy)
如果yyyyyy是140.112.1.xxx的話應該計中的router有問題
根據經驗如果是上班時間的話半小時以內會好，下班時間當然就沒救了
