Job Title Sr. Engineer - Wireless Modem ASIC Systems

Location: Taipei
Role:
The employer is a US-based company after second round funding. It is involved
in the IP licensing of 3/3.5G cellular solutions. It is in the process of
establishing a true research and development center in Taiwan.
Candidate will work as part of a close-knit team on the system design,
implementation and verification of modem ASIC products for advanced wireless
technologies. Job duties include:
1. Developing signal processing techniques to receive and transmit wireless
signals.
2. Conducting C/C++ and Matlab simulations to study system performance
绊 Working closely with hardware and software developers to realize the
design
3. Verifying product performance using commercial test equipment and field
testing
4. Working with licensee to enable their products
Skills/Experience
The candidate must have:
1. Expertise in communication and signal processing theory
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to program effectively in C/C++ and Matlab
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
5. A high willingness to learn
6. Occasional travel to domestic and international locations will be
required.
Additional Skills (not required)
Expertise on RF/analog/baseband integrated circuit design, microprocessor
architecture, and embedded software would be considered favorably.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required for entry level positions.
Working experience or PhD degree required for higher-level positions.
