所以每天都會上ATP官網去看看新聞
以後我不定時來PO一小篇新聞內容好了~
(但是很可能都只會po跟Federer有關的新聞~XDDDD)
Two-time former Sony Ericsson Open champion Roger Federer cruised through to
the third round with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over American qualifier Kevin Kim in
Miami on Friday at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tennis tournament in
Miami.
這段在講Fed在Sony網球賽進入了第三輪。
第二輪的戰果是以6-3，6-2打贏會外賽選手Kim
Qualifier在網球是指會外賽進來的選手。
Sony Ericsson Open才是這場比賽的名字，但我們習慣用舉辦的地方叫那場比賽
所以也叫Miami 名人賽(名人賽應該之前講過了)。
The Swiss, who came into the tournament not ranked No. 1 for the first time
since 2003, saved all five break points he faced in the 64-minute match –
while converting three of five opportunities on Kim’s serve to improve to a
31-8 record at the Sony Ericsson Open. The 27 year old won back-to-back
titles at the Crandon Park Tennis Center in 2005 (d. Nadal) and 2006 (d.
Ljubicic) and was runner-up in 2002 (l. to Agassi).
這個瑞士人(網球新聞很愛說這個人是那國人之類的)，是從03年以來第一次不是以No.1
的排名打這項比賽。在這場歷時64分鐘的賽事中，他保住了五個破發點，並取得在Sony的
第31場勝利(31-8)。這個27歲老人(orz)曾在05-06連續兩年(d Nadal & Ljubicic)拿下
冠軍。
World No. 2 Federer, who recently announced he will become a father for the
first time this summer, is bidding for his first ATP World Tour title of the
season. He has compiled a 14-3 match record in 2009, with a semi-final exit
at Doha (l. to Murray), a runner-up finish at the Australian Open (l. to
Nadal) and a semi-final exit last week at Indian Wells (l. to Murray).
這位宣布將於夏季，初為人父的消息的人，正追求本季第一個ATP title(冠軍啦~)
後面在說今年的三場敗績...是敗給誰和那一場比賽T^T。
“I felt good,” said Federer after his second round win. “I was moving
well. I tried to get many balls back. I've never played him before… but I
realized very quickly what his pattern was, especially on the serve.
Fed說雖然他從未跟這個選手(Kim)打過，但是他覺得自己的狀況很好，並且很快的抓到對
手的狀況，尤其是在發球上。
“I feel like this is an important week for me to do well, especially now
that I have matches again under my belt. I'm into the third round here, so I
feel like things are going well for me again.”
對這禮拜的期望囉~希望這禮拜可以打好。
(其實我不懂under my belt的意思?)
