In a typical year, 5 to 10 travel grants are awarded, depending on the number of
applicants, and the available program funding. Travel grants are typically cover
early conference registration.
For student applicants, letters of need from their Advisor, Chair, and Dean are
required. This can be one letter signed by all three.
Travel Grant electronic applications must be submitted 60 days before the event.
Travel Grant awards are announced 45 to 30 days before the event.
ACM SIGDA Travel Grants are an ACM SIGDA membership benefit.

Typically, an ACM SIGDA Travel Grant covers (early) registration fee. Depending on
the need and available funds, lodging and airfare may also be covered.
