It's a nice kit, but needs a bunch of work. I got the TM version, here's my impressions: -cockpit's a joke (Decal instrument panel on featureless slab, doesn't matter if the canopy's closed. -To facilitate multiple versions, trumpeter has the area around the cockpit separate. I found the fit of this area to be pretty frustrating. -incorrect nose profile. There's a way to fix it on Victorymodels.com -rather sloppy fit of the airbrakes -putting on the rear intakes is kinda dicey as their instructions are kinda vague, and there's no reference on the fuselage as to where to put them -irritating fit of the tailplanes. Maybe I did something wrong (entirely possible) but I end up with a rather pronounced anhedral to the tailplanes (and the real plane has flat tailplanes) -Trumpeter would rather have you build the plane with the airbrakes extended and the nose open to expose the radar, hence the incorrect nose profile and sloppy airbrake fit. So, if you close the cockpit, open the nose and airbrakes, it should look decent out of the box, but to close the nose and airbrakes and open the cockpit's gonna require a bit more time, work, money and filler. -- There is no excuse my friend for breaking my heart breaking my heart again This is where our journey ends -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.122.90
