Call for papers

Call for papers for a special issue on Democratization and Political Change in
Taiwan in 2004  for the American Journal for Chinese Studies
You are cordially invited to submit papers for the Special Issue on Democratiza
tion
and Political Change in Taiwan in 2004 for the American Journal for Chinese Stu
dies.
Manuscripts must be postmarked no later than January 3, 2005. Manuscripts for
AJCS should not exceed more than 9,000 words, be double spaced, footnotes at th
e
bottom, following Turabian format. Please submit in Word plus 2 hard copies.

These should be academic articles with a minimum of partisanship. Topics to be
considered:

the presidential election
the referendum
the upcoming legislative election.
The manuscripts will be refereed.
