最近在翻譯一篇關於浪漫主義藝術的演講稿
其中引用到馬克思的一段文字
不過當中有些背景我實在不太清楚
(近代史白痴啊，沒辦法…)
在Google 上面搜尋之後又找到同樣文字的另一段翻譯
所以我想請問一下有沒有人讀過這段東西
能幫我解答一下背景的問題
資料上註明的出處是：Grundrisse, pp. 30-1
內容如下：
What becomes of Vulcan faced with Roberts et Co.,
Jupiter faced with the lightning-conductor,
Hermes faced with the Credit mobilier?
All mythology overcomes and dominates and moulds natural forces
through the imagination and in the imagination,
disappears therefore with actual domination over these [forces].
"Jupiter & lightning-conductor" 的部分我知道
"Credit mobilier" 我猜可能是美國Pacific Union 鐵路公司底下的某個東西
不過也不太確定
"Roberts et Co." 就真的完全不知道是什麼了
不知道有沒有19世紀或者思想史的專家能解釋一下？
