Dear Toastmasters good friends,
Past TI President -Tim Keck had a very informative and interesting lecture
at Shih-Da yesterday afternoon, more than 100 participants attended this
lecturer, most of the non-Toastmasters audience are from Shih-Da English
Dept. and the Interpretation graduate school students.
Thanks to Sherry Li and Grand Club's devoted efforts in planting the
initiation seeds at Shih-Da.
They will have a demo(regular) meeting on this coming Thursday evening at
Shih-Da, if you are available, please do come and show our warmly gratitude
to Grand Club and their wonderful Hawaii dance at this convention's
highlight show.
At 4 p.m. Tim, DG-George, A4G-Clear and I visited CTCI 中鼎工程 yesterday,
their president, John Lin and many senior managers were convinced and the
president promised to charter clubs in CTCI ASAP.
They have 3500 employees and more than 50% of their business are from
foreign countries.
So that Toastmasters can really fit their urgently communication and
leadership needs.
Let's show our warmly wishes and helping hands to Sherry Li (Area C1-Grand)
and Clear Chen(Area C4-PECL) to have good news of chartering new clubs in
the very near future.
