[Creative NTUTM] Mike's visit to NTUTM

My fellow NTU Toastmasters,

      It was great to visit NTU Toastmasters, the very first time for me to

visit a student based club in my hometown, Taipei. I learned about how "Double-

TME"(A model I brought up two years ago somewhere at nowhere) works out well at

your meeting , thanks Cathy and Lisa for "cooking" the meeting out for us.

I did enjoy some parts of the meeting, as what I heard , very creative and

individualism was pretty much shown there. I just loved the speeches got

differentiated !

      Well , I know NTUTM meetings are normally run with high quality and the

attendance rate is normally high , however , it was not that when I visited ,

but it didn't disappoint me at all because I know student clubs as well as

community clubs quite well. I know there are ups and downs in student based

clubs, that night I visited had already shown me the creativity you have there.

It's always good to try new stuff , it's hard at the beginning but you will

find it invaluable later on when something got created and passed down.

       Five years in Toastmasters has been giving me lots of opportunities

to explore the world , through Toastmasters ,  I have experienced many

levels of programs/events in and outside Taiwan you may not be able to

believe. So, those creative C1 speakers of NTU are strongly advised to stay

with Toastmasters thoughout your NTU life even you are also involved in

other kinds of orgs. You have got the best environment to grow, so keep up the

good work. Those three C1 speakers impressed me in many ways, honestly.

     Though it was pitty that I wasn't able to share what we have in Cheng

Kung Toastmasters club that night , I still believe we can exchange more

ideas and experience in the TM Union during winter vacation, so , I guess

president Cindy still remembers that NTU is going to arrange that event!

I would love to personally assit. the preparatory work of this event in any

way I can.
