Hey Everyone,

I would write in Chinese, but I type pretty slowly, and since this is an
English-oriented club anyways, I thought it'd be easier for me to write in
English. I'm a 僑生 from the US, and actually finished my undergraduate studies
over there before coming here and I'll be at NTU for the next seven (well,
at least) years studying medicine.

As you can tell, I'm much more comfortable communicating in English as my
written Chinese is fairly poor, but I intend on improving it (that's why
I'm here at NTU in the first place!), so hopefully I can seek everyone's
help in that aspect.

In terms of public speaking skill, I actually participated in a
"Youth Toastmasters" type of club when I was younger (and thus familiar with
the format) and have been fairly involved with public speaking and teaching
public speaking throughout, so hopefully I can contribute something to this
club.

I look forward to meeting you all this Friday, although I have a few questions
about when the meeting is, because I can't seem to find the time on the flyer
I received at the club fair last Friday.
