Dear friends,
Last week was our fantastic Star Cup(星光盃), here are several speakers
who I think indeed left a great impression on us: Our S.a.A. James Chang has
a strong affection toward his hometown, his stories were so toughing that
some of us were about to cry; Kyle Huang showed that under his funny mask,
how he has become an entertainer and made up his mind to bring the laughter
to everyone; majoring in Chemistry, our former EVP Antares Chang told us
about the danger and adventure in Chemistry and in our life as well; coming
from Macao, Steven Sam told us about the story of his different names, and a
lesson that we have to tolerate others since we all make mistakes. Jeffrey
Kao talked about his challenging and successful experience in preparing
national Chinese speech contest, I believe all of us can make a difference in
525,600 minutes(=1 year) if we determine to; our former president Ivy Yang
mentioned that we shouldn't limit our thoughts and we should still imagine
more when we grow older; our secretary, Christine Chai's speech is almost an
excellent workshop, she taught the tips of finding a speech topic, which was
very useful for all of us.
This Friday is our Little Newcomer's Cup (小小新生盃), we have five C1
speakers (Alonso, Candy, Lucy, Eric, and Sean) and all of them are very
devoted, I've observed that they keep coming to our meetings regularly, which
was commendable. Wanna see how great potential they've got? Don't forget to
