Program Notes
Crowded in by the everyday din of life we do not hear what is often said to
us softly and with consideration or love.
日復一日掙扎於喧囂之中，我們聽不見那些經常在我們耳邊迴響的，輕柔的、體貼的、愛
的話語。
We seek resolutions and outcomes, but what we desire is peace. We demand
recognition and reward, but what we really hope for is love and joy. Our
pursuit of love, peace and joy is often stymied by the incessant noise of
life; a hum we often add to.
我們苦尋解答和結果，但我們真正渴望的卻是平靜。我們索求肯定和回報，但我們真正希
望的卻是愛和喜樂。庸人自擾的嗡嗡聲，生活中持續不斷的雜訊，卻不斷干擾著我們對愛
、平靜和喜樂的追求。
The answer may be within; it may come from some form of epiphany or
recognition of our life, just as we are. Yet again, it might never come for
we are surrounded by ‘that’ noise and the emotional debris of life. It
clatters and clangs – such a cacophony.
答案或許不假外求；也許來自於某種對我們生命的頓悟或肯定，一如我們的存在。然而，
答案卻也可能不會出現，因為我們被「那些」雜音和碎裂的情感包圍著。嘰嘰喳喳、嘩啷
嘩啷──根本是噪音。
Yet peace is there, perfect peace – a peace that passes all understanding.
The white noise of life can be replaced by the bright light of that peace,
joy and love.
但平靜卻在那裡，完美的平靜──一個超越所有理解的平靜。生命的白雜訊將被那燦爛的
光芒所取代：平靜、喜樂，和愛。
