Job Description
Investments Associate: Work with Investments Team on all aspects of the deal
sourcing, analysis and closing process for potential Asia-Pacific investments,
including sourcing transactions that meet the firm’s investment criteria,
performing quantitative and qualitative analyses of proposed investments,
analyzing due diligence materials such as corporate financial statements,
real property appraisals and other documentation, performing investment
scenario analyses, assisting in drafting deal summary memos,
and drafting deal closing documentation.
Full-time position in Taipei; compensation will be competitive and
commensurate with experience. Annual bonus available based on performance.
Requirements:
-4+ years of experience in investment analysis and execution at a corporate
finance or real estate firm in Asia.
-A high level of proficiency and familiarity with financial modeling –
building financial models from scratch, and financial statement analysis with
an emphasis on valuation and corporate credit analyses
-Exceptional quantitative, qualitative, analytical, due diligence skills and
ability to distill information into concise summaries, while retaining all the
most important points.
-Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
-Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese mandatory.
Japanese oral and written communication abilities preferred.
-Attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects with various
deadlines.
-Self-starter and willingness to think independently to find solutions.
-Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
-A BS or BA from a reputable school with courses relevant to financial
statement analyses.
-Ideally CFA and/or MBA preferred but not required.
This position is for an immediate start and will be based in Taipei. Some travel in Asia required (less than 25%).
