International booth presentation competition
Target: the general public
Objective
1. to raise public awareness on the risk of contacting a newly-arisen epidemic
Content of presentation
1. Introduce the newly-arisen epidemic disease which has impacted your country
and its influences on society, culture and medical field.
(you can choose one or two diseases)
2. Describe the emergency system of your country when facing the newly-arisen
epidemics through the process from discovery, prevention to control.
3. Bring up current methods or devices to fight next epidemic. (optional)
4. How to protect ourselves, and save others when we medical students face the
outbreak of newly-arisen epidemics
Notice
-Each country will be given a table and two boards for posters. Extra media
supplies will not be provided
-Each group will have 10 minutes on one booth, before going to the next.
And all groups will visit all booths in turn.
-The 10 minutes will be divided into two parts for presentation and Q&A.
The division of time depends on each country.
-Grading criteria: Each delegate will have three votes. The votes of
delegates take 50% and judges’ grading takes the other 50%.
