Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a nationally recognized series of
protocols for cardiac crises. The training for ACLS covers disrhythmia
recognition, common causes of disrhythmias, pharmacological treatments, and
electrical interventions. Adjunct therapies and skills, such as intubation,
are also included.
