Former major leaguer Edgardo Alfonzo ended his 20-year professional
baseball career on Sunday.
"It's the right time to do it," said Alfonzo, a 39-year-old second
and third baseman, speaking after playing his last game for los
Navegantes, one of the most popular teams of Venezuela's professional
winter league.
前大都會三壘手Edgardo Alfonso決定高掛球鞋退休.
12年大聯盟生涯待過大都會, 巨人, 天使, 藍鳥,
曾到日職讀賣巨人過水一下.
2000全星星, 也是當年大都會國聯冠軍成員之一,
