purpose, that was pretty stupid as it loaded the bases with one out. I think
there’s a fairly good chance based on how he’s pitching (19 pitches, 10
strikes) that he just doesn’t have control.

UPDATE, 9:57 p.m.: What a strange game for Matsuzaka. In 5.2 innings he put
10 runners on base and threw 121 pitches.

My vote this year in the BBWAA awards is for Rookie of the Year and I have
no idea what to make of him yet. I think it’s foolish that Japanese veterans
are considered rookies, but the rules are the rules.

UPDATE, 10:22 p.m.: How’s Andy Phillips look now? Giambi’s defense has
cost them three runs. It could be 4-2.

講岡島：

UPDATE, 11:03 p.m.: Okajima is showing some wear and tear. That was his 64th
appearance. He has allowed 15 hits in his last 11.2 innings. Okajima is
apparently Japanese for “Proctor"

逆轉！！：

UPDATE, 11:19 p.m.: I may have to sleep in the press box because there will
be panic in the streets of Boston if the Yankees hold on to this game. What
a stunning turnaround. （XDDDDDDDDDDD）

UPDATE, 11:42 p.m.: ....Fenway Park is practically silent. What a shocking
turn of events. (XDDDDDDDDD)
