Robinson Cano's eighth-inning, pinch-hit home run off Al Reyes lifted the
Yankees to an 8-7 slugfest victory over the Rays on Monday at Tropicana Field
, giving New York the lead after Ian Kennedy was injured as part of a five-run
Tampa Bay seventh.
Cano在八局上面對Al Reyes代打擊出的全壘打把比數超前到8比7,帶領洋基週一在純品
康納球場面對光芒隊取得艱辛的勝利 (slugfest:激烈的互毆(n)), 讓洋基在Kennedy第七
局受傷且掉了五分後取得領先.

A healthy lead came unhinged for the Yankees as Kennedy was hit near the right
thigh with a batted ball and was forced to leave. The Rays would hit three home
runs in the inning off New York relievers to put up a five-run frame and tie
the game.

Bruney -- Upton belting a two-run shot to straightaway center field and
Longoria hitting the first home run of his Major League career into the

two runs in his return to the lineup and three Yankees homered to chase Rays
starter Andy Sonnanstine, who surrendered solo home runs to Johnny Damon,
Alex Rodriguez and Morgan Ensberg.

, 然後另外三位洋基球員Damon, A-Rod&Ensberg又對光芒隊的先發Sonnanstine都擊出了

Rodriguez's home run was the 521st of his career, tying him with Willie McCovey
and Ted Williams for 15th place on baseball's all-time list. Six different
players scored as the Yankees, who surpassed their season high of six runs as
they continue a stretch where they play 18 of 20 games away from Yankee Stadium.

The 23-year-old Kennedy allowed eight hits and three earned runs in six-plus
innings, including a Crawford sacrifice fly in the third and a RBI ground-rule
double to Eric Hinske in the fourth. Kennedy otherwise held the Rays scoreless
until Jason Bartlett hit him with a ball lined back up the middle leading off
the seventh.
23歲的Kennedy在六局多的出賽中被擊出了八支安打,掉了三分自責分, 包括Crawford的高

Sonnanstine beat the Yankees on April 4 in the same pitching matchup, but
lasted just 3 1/3 innings on Monday, allowing seven runs on nine hits. New York
scored four times in the fourth as Damon and Jeter had run-scoring hits
back-to-back, with Damon's drive a double. Scott Dohmann threw 3 2/3 innings of
scoreless relief to stifle New York.
Sonnanstine在4/4一樣的對戰組合中擊敗了洋基, 但這次只撐了3又1/3局, 被打了九支
安打失了七分. 洋基再第四局尻了四分, Damon & Jeter接連的擊出得分的安打. 接著
Scott Dohman中繼了3又2/3局, 都沒讓洋基再得分.
