雖然錢的部份不是大問題，但洋基已經不是五年前的洋基了。
他們已經不像以往是幾乎篤定進世界大賽的隊伍；教頭換人了；
而幹練的老爹老闆也已經讓權。整個球隊氣氛已經不同，當然這不一定是壞事。
不過說到來，錢還是最重要的。

鐵爺：除了Bora$以外都不是問題(貴死你)。而且如果他來一壘的話，

211IP      但紅襪不是無故把他放掉，他們覺得這傢伙太愛辦趴，心思不在投球上。
ERA3.24    如果洋基認為他已經改邪歸正，倒是一個不錯的選擇。

      前者可是二十分鐘剪一次頭髮，後者三年才剪一次！

O.Perez：Bora$會幫他找個好東家。新球場裡多個左投，也可以吃局數，好像不賴。
194IP    不過他的成績讓大都會現在連季後賽都沒得打，又讓他沒這麼優了。

O.Hudson：如果小Q被交易的話，洋基可需要一個二壘手。

KC布雷：洋基可能會想要一個不錯的多功能板凳工具人，
        而那絕對不會是盲砲蝙蝠。


: Adam Dunn: If Giambi and Abreu are gone, somebody has to drive in runs. But
: they should try and keep Bobby. The FA outfield crop isn’t good.

亞當蛋：如果大吉跟阿布都掰了，我們得找個人來得點分數才可以。
        不過洋基實在該把阿布留下，今年的外野FA實在不怎麼行。

(因為沒了季後賽)我們有一段很長的時間可以和其他隊伍交涉。
 而且很明顯的，洋基會是很多球員的新買家(公仔收容所)。
 別忘了我們付了下面這些人如此多的薪水：

 Giambi  : $21 million    大吉公仔 兩千一百萬
 Abreu   : $16 million    阿布公仔 一千六百萬
 Pettitte: $16 million    派帥公仔 一千六百萬
 Mussina : $11 million    穆帥公仔 一千一百萬
 Idle    : $11 million    連這個就乾薪的痛痛 都要一千一百萬

: That’s $75 million plus a few million for Ensberg, Pudge, Ponson, etc.

這些可不是小數目－七千五百萬美金，還要加上俺是寶、I-ROD、胖鬆的幾百萬...
