Abraham 還沒忘記井川慶，不過也快沒人記得他了...

Now that Carl Pavano is (hopefully) gone, the biggest waste of money in the
organization is LHP Kei Igawa.

Surely there be some sort of market for Igawa? Perhaps a National League team
with a big park?

“No,” said Brian Cashman. “Nobody has asked me about him.”

Nobody?

“Nobody.”

There you have it. Igawa, who is 28, has three years and $12 million left on
his deal. I have no clue what the Yankees do with him. He was outrighted off
the 40-man roster last season, so he may not even get invited to spring
training. I suppose he’ll just keep chucking for Scranton.

Yankees not in the mix for Peavy

Towers also revealed that he is dealing with three teams, all in the National
League. He mentioned the possibility of Peavy moving as part of a multi-team
trade.

The Padres are known to be dealing with the Braves and Cubs. The third team
could be the Cardinals or Astros. The Yankees are not in the mix.

“It’s been narrowed down for quite a while and there have been no additions,
” Towers said.
