就連記者也一樣  同行也是會戰的

Peter胖在他的blog開砲了

這篇原本是在講其實CC有可能會是個很划算的投資
大部分篇幅也用來比較了一下他和Johan的這兩份約

不過高潮在最後兩段  Peter胖說出了Yankee lovers 和 haters 間永無休止的爭吵
還有這兩者間價值觀差異巨大的問題

這是我第一次看到米國記者或專欄家這麼赤裸地因為這種反洋基情結開砲的
相信這幾年來大家也沒看過彼得胖真的在他文章裡動過火

自己覺得相當有趣和耐人尋味


更有趣的是下面米國鄉民的流言果然又流於嘴砲

有對彼德胖批評的那些作家人身攻擊的 也有嗆彼得胖的
當然毫不意外襪子和梅子又中了好幾槍


把最後兩段翻出來給大家看 XD

看到那麼多專欄作家又在那裡批評洋基花那麼多錢簽下CC和AJ真是快笑死我，
這些人同時也是去年猛烈批評現金人不搶Johan，同時沒簽到CC也同樣會開罵的人。

我不是說我同意現金人的每次佈局，但對很多人來說他就是不能贏。
如果他花大錢，他們說他真是邪惡；如果他不花錢，那他怎麼這麼白癡。

除非棒球規則改變 不然洋基哪步沒有照著規則在走?

這種事其實沒有對錯  不過這大概是個永恆吵不完的話題 XD

The contract Johan Santana signed with the Mets guarantees him $132 million
over six seasons. There is a $25 million club option for 2014 or a $5.5 million
buyout.


The option can vest, however, based on how Santana fares in the Cy Young voting
or how many innings he pitches. If the option vests, Santana would receive $157
million over seven seasons.


CC Sabathia will receive $161 million over seven years if he fulfills the
entire contract. So Sabathia cost only $4 million more. Santana’s average
annual value would be $22.42 million, Sabathia’s $23 million.


The difference is that the Yankees did not have to surrender any prospects,
which is what the Mets had to do. This is what the Yankees intended to do all
along. While they took the hit in 2008, they benefit in the long term by not
shedding any prospects.


Meanwhile it’s amusing to read so many columnists in New York and elsewhere
criticizing the Yankees for spending so much money on Sabathia and A.J. Burnett.
These are the same people who ripped Cashman for not getting Santana and would
have called for his head had Sabathia signed with another team.


I can’t say I agree with every move Cashman has made. But he can’t win. If he
spends money, he’s evil. If he doesn’t spend money, he’s foolish. Until
baseball changes the rules, the Yankees are playing by the rules.

→ leecher:with another team 好像是說，如果洋基沒有簽到 Sabathia
→ leecher:的話，這些人又會罵 Cashman。
推 CGary:本來就是這樣的, Hater 不管甚麼都有話說的 XD
