Just wondering, but does anybody else question what is going on with the
Yankees and their ability to properly evaluate injuries?

難道沒有人也對洋基審視傷病的能力感到懷疑嗎?

Damaso Marte went seven days without pitching then they decided to put him on
the disabled list. Then we found out today that the injury he had in spring
training never really cleared up. Meanwhile, he made seven appearances and
got knocked around.

馬鐵七天沒投球了,然後進了DL,是因為他從春訓以來就一直困擾著的傷所造成,
而從開季到現在他出場了七次而且一直被爆......(OS:小小郭...>"<...)

Chien-Ming Wang, as it turns out, had weakness in his injured foot and that
led to atrophied hip muscles. How did this go unnoticed all spring and lead
to his getting crushed for three starts?

王建民的傷病問題.就像對外所宣稱的,之前受傷的腿比較無力,也導致了屁屁
肌肉的萎縮.怎麼可能在整個春訓都沒被發現?直到他被打爆了三場.....

A-Rod said his hip injury was an issue last June. Yet he played the rest of
the year and it went undiagnosed until March. Then he needed surgery that has
so far kept him out a month.

A-Rod說從去年六月以來他就有屁屁毛病.他卻還是撐完了去年球季,而且在今年三月
前都還沒任何治療.然後就突然需要開刀並miss掉一個月...

There is no one person at fault here. Maybe the players have to be more
honest about how they feel or the coaches and medical staff more observant.
Maybe Brian Cashman and Joe Girardi need to demand greater accountability.
But Marte, Wang and Rodriguez are important players and in all three cases,
something broke down.

這不是任何人的錯.或許球員應該要更誠實,教練和醫療團隊的觀察也該更敏銳些.
或許現金人和喬總需要負更大責任.馬鐵,小王,A-Rod都是很重要的球員.在這三個
case中,有些東西出問題了.

Look at Mark Teixeira, for instance. He has not been the same since he
injured his wrist. What would be better for the Yankees, Juan Miranda playing
first base or Tex going 2 for 27? Should he be on the DL?

舉例來說,看看鐵爺.自從傷了他的手腕,一切都跟以前的他不一樣了.
到底怎麼樣做對洋基比較好?把古巴人Miranda調來守一壘還是放鐵爺,27打數2支安?
該不該把鐵爺放進DL?           (OS:不管治療或充分休息)

Obviously medical issues are tricky and many factors are involved. Injuries
are not always apparent or become worse over time. I realize it’s difficult
to judge what is the right thing to do.

很明顯,健康問題是很難處理且包含了很多因素.受傷不見得總是顯而易見且不一定會隨著
時間越來越惡化.我知道很難決斷出怎麼做是最好的.

But as Marte was saying today that his shoulder has hurt for, “a long time”
 it was all I could do not to say, “Then what the heck were you out there
pitching for?”

但,馬鐵今天說了:[我的肩膀已經痛了"好一段時間".我唯一能做的事就是不說.]

那你在上面投什麼鬼球??......<==這段話應該是彼得胖真的怒了 = =...
