Hal Steinbrenner on the NY Yankees

NEW YORK -- In a rare public appearance, Yankees managing general partner Hal
Steinbrenner addressed several issues surrounding the team. Steinbrenner was
in town to announce the playing of a college football game between Army and
Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium during the 2010 season.
On changes to the new Yankee Stadium:
"Until I have a full year of data, it's not something I'm going to look at. I
want a full year of data, then we'll look at it. And whatever conclusions I
make, we'll make them."
On the team's performance this season:
"I'm seeing some looseness this year in the players, some emotion, and that's
a good thing."
"We've managed to limit the injuries. We're ahead of last year in that area."
"We're pretty happy with all areas of our team. We do believe we have a
championship caliber team."
"I absolutely believe that we've got the team that can win the championship."
"The attitude of the team is what I've been really, really excited about."
On the Yankees' plans at the trade deadline
"I'll say what I've always said, we're going to look at all possibilities."
On an upcoming four-game series against the Red Sox, Aug. 6-9 at Yankee
Stadium:
"That four game series is going to be a big one. But the guys believe that
they can beat anybody and that has not changed. That's the important thing."
看了news，大家一直把焦點放在Hal宣誓相信洋基能到冠軍，其實下面那句才是重點，
在交易截止日期前會注意所有的可能性。
目前交易市場最大條的投手DOC，今天新聞特多。
天使總經理Tony Reagins說不排除任何方面去交易DOC，洛杉磯時報的記者說天使沒有
高優質的潛力新秀去換。
大都會拒絕拿Fernando Martinez、Bobby Parnell、Jon Niese與Ruben Tejada
去換DOC。
還有一堆球隊的新聞，費城人、洋基、紅襪、釀酒人、紅鵲、道奇與遊騎兵...等隊。
