Jerry Hairston Jr. 在今天比賽的七局上做揮棒練習的時候感覺到左手腕"發出聲響"
，所以提前退場。
Hairston 表示他感到劇烈的疼痛，自從季初在紅人隊時一次撲球使他這個球季以來手
腕的情況一直時好時壞。他透露十天前做過 MRI 並且注射了可體松，試著減緩發炎的
情形。
"我希望那只是傷口裂開之類的問題，" Hairston 說。
Hairston 即將再作另一次的 MRI 檢測。

swing in the seventh inning. That’s why he came out of the game.
Hairston said he felt a sharp pain. He has been been having wrist issues on
and off since diving for a ball while playing for Cincinnati earlier this
season. He disclosed that he had an MRI about 10 days ago and then received a
cortisone shot to try and calm some inflammation.
“I’m just hoping it’s some scar tissue breaking up,” he said.
Hairston will have another MRI tomorrow. We should hear more then.
Hairston is hitting only .235 for the Yankees but his value comes in being
able to play multiple positions, pinch run, get a bunt down or play
late-inning outfield defense. His absence from the postseason roster would be
damaging. Not fatally, of course. But the Yankees are better with him than
without him.
The Yankees could replace him with Ramiro Pena. But Pena, while versatile,
does not have major league experience in the outfield.
