Former Bash Brother and admitted steroid user Jose Canseco has picked a fight
with newly crowned World Series champion Alex Rodriguez - this time offering
to take on A-Rod in the ring.

Canseco, who has taken to boxing in his post-baseball career, called out the
Yankee slugger while in Springfield, Mass., to promote Friday night's bout
against Pittsfield, Mass., fighter Todd Poulton. Canseco won the fight by
decision. Rodney King, the victim of the famous videotaped beating by Los
Angeles police in 1991, also won his bout on the card, via TKO.

Canseco has long professed a dislike for Rodriguez, whom Canseco blasted in
his 2008 book "Vindicated," the followup to his 2005 steroid tell-all
"Juiced." In "Vindicated," Canseco said he introduced Rodriguez to a steroid
dealer and that Rodriguez repaid the favor by coming on to Canseco's wife,
Jessica, in the late 1990s.

When Canseco was asked by Masslive.com at Friday's weigh-in which baseball
player he would most like to box, Canseco said, "Who I would love to fight
the most if I could pick a baseball player - Alex Rodriguez, get your ass
into the ring, I'll beat you to a pulp."

Canseco has already fought former NFL player Vai Sikahema in July 2008
(Sikahema KO'd Canseco in 1:37) and former "Partridge Family" star Danny
Bonaduce in January (the two fought to a draw).

Rodriguez admitted to his steroid sins earlier this year after Sports
Illustrated outed his past performance-enhancing drug use, revealing that he
tested positive for steroids in baseball's survey testing year in 2003. He
minimized his use and said he had not used since then.

Canseco ended his comments with a smile.

"That lying little idiot," he said. "I'd like to get him in the ring."

   他對A-Rod的不爽是有目共睹的，他在2008年的新書「Vindicated」說出了他對A-Rod

的不爽，他說他介紹藥商給A-Rod，不過A-Rod報答他的方式竟然是把走他的老婆Jessica。

   他也曾經和其他明星較量過，2008年七月，他和NFL的球員Vai Sikahema PK，不過他

1分又37秒就被KO了。還有「鷓鴣家庭合唱團」的明星Danny Bonaduce，他們兩個在一月

時的對決到最後打成平手。
