「Breaking news J Hairston just told me on XM 175 that Yankees never made
him an offer because they are waiting for Damon price to come down」
One wonders if Hairston was told this by another person, or if he is simply
making an assumption.
If it’s the former, those who want to see Damon return – and there are many
of you – should be pleased.

UPDATE (10:05 pm) – Brian Cashman told Ken Davidoff it is true that he never
made Hairston an offer, however, he says it is not true that he is waiting
for Damon’s price to fall. Well, what did you expect him to say?
小Jerry說如果他透露出這些的話，現金人會對他很不爽(廢話)，因為不給他合約的原因
正是因為洋基隊想要等Damon降價再殺出。
現金人說法：「他的說法只有不開合約給他的那一部份正確，其他部分是錯誤的，我們
沒有等待Damon降價。」
