[閒聊] What the guys do during rain delays

I meant to post this the other night, but I had been receiving some messages
on Twitter (@bryanhoch) wondering what the Yankees might be doing during the
two long rain delays on Friday night.


We got a little glimpse from that night's starter Dustin Moseley, who said he
went in and watched video during the first 31-minute rain delay, which helped
him get control of his curveball and pitch better when the tarp came off.

But the more accurate indication came from Lance Berkman, who talked a little
bit about the two-hour, 10-minute delay that kept everyone here well past
midnight.


While thunder and lightning took over the area, Berkman said some of the
Yankees were caught up watching the exciting slugfest of a Red Sox-Rangers
game. Some other players cracked out the playing cards and started up a game.
And others - Berkman seemed to be including himself - "just tried to keep
from eating everything in the kitchen."

Rain shouldn't be a problem here in Kansas City today. For the first time on
this trip, it is not swelteringly hot. 76 degrees and sunny as of a few hours
before first pitch as the Yankees wrap up this six-game road trip.
