[新聞] Jeter's glove didn't look golden

Derek Jeter is nothing if he is not popular. As he waits and waits on his new
contract, he added some gold.

Jeter, somehow, some way, won the Gold Glove, which proves that players and
managers can mess up voting just as well as writers.

Jeter wasn't horrible defensively in 2010, but he wasn't great. His range is
diminished, especially to his left. He compensates for this by cheating that
way, using positioning to make up for Father Time.

Maybe the Red Sox Marco Scutaro should have won the award, but it is hard to
say when you mostly watch the Yankees. Someone else should have.

What is clear from watching the Yankees is that it doesn't seem as if Jeter
was a Gold Glover. But he won his fifth.
