Harden’s representatives are gauging interest from a number of teams. Some
like him as a starter. Some like him as a reliever.

The New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Tampa Bay Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks,
Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners and Colorado Rockies are among the teams
who have checked in, a source said.

 New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is on the verge of making
Cliff Lee a very lucrative offer. Cashman is just waiting for the green light
from the player's agent.

"I'm willing to get serious," said Cashman, who once again was scheduled to
talk with agent Darek Braunecker on Tuesday night.
