[洋基] Yankees acquire OF Maxwell

The Yankees announced that they acquired Justin Maxwell from the Nationals,

giving them a potential fifth outfielder.


Maxwell, 27, has appeared in 107 games for Washington the past two seasons,

batting .192 with seven homers and 21 RBI. He can play all three outfield spots.



In exchange, the Nationals get Double-A right-hander Adam Olbrychowski, 24, who

had a 3.90 ERA as a reliever last season.

To make room for Maxwell on their 40-man roster, the Yankees designated

outfielder Jordan Parraz for assignment.
