Garcia現年35歲，2011成績12勝8敗，ERA3.62。

Garcia是Type-B自由球員，洋基非常有可能給Garcia仲裁，沒簽到，就會拿到新秀補償。

3. Brett Gardner, a Gold Glove candidate, was named the left field winner of
the 2011 Fielding Bible Awards. The awards are not league specific -- one
player at each spot in the majors is honored.

   Gardner，金手套獎候選人，獲得2011左外野防守聖經獎。
   這獎項為跨聯盟獎項，只以守備位置來分。

   Club's first-round pick from 2007 Draft becomes a free agent

   沒撿Brackman選擇權。

   他在洋基的表現：3A出賽33次，13次先發，ERA6.00 ERA，
                   在96局的投球，保送75次，三振75次。
                   失分65 (自責分64)，被打82支安打。

                   2009~2011在四個不同等級的小聯盟表現：出賽89次，先發58場，
                                                        15勝29敗，ERA5.11。

   In answering a question about A.J. Burnett, Cashman said the Yankees would
   keep an open mind about dealing anybody on the roster who is not protected
   with a no-trade clause. Said Cashman: “Unless you're strapped with the full
   no-trade which prevents me from listening or entertaining, I'm open, I'm
   open to creativity, I'm open to listening to anything people have to offer.”

   記者問到AJ，現金人說先發名單上沒有拒絕交易條款的選手，去留不設限。

   Cashman said the Yankees are in better position to evaluate Japanese players
   today than they were a few years ago when they made the mistake of signing
   Kei Igawa. Though Cashman refused to get into detail, he said the team
   learned that scouting the talent on the field is only part of the challenge
   when considering pitchers in Japan. “You have to factor those things in,”
   Cashman said. “We've educated ourselves by our past experiences. I think
   we're more prepared today than we have been in the past in terms of how we
   evaluate players over there and the risks we're going to take.”

   問到達比修，現金人說：比起幾年前，現在洋基對評估日本選手比較有把握了，
   評估日籍投手，場上表現只是一部分而已，其他因素也得考量進去。
