The stuff is definitely there for Banuelos to be successful at the Major
League level. All he has to do is learn how to harness it more consistently.
He has three pitches that can be above-average or better with his fastball,
curve and changeup. He's struck out 9.2 batters per nine innings throughout
his Minor League career and his pure stuff has gotten better in recent years,
so that should continue. His command is what's holding him back. He walked
nearly five batters every nine innings in 2011 and often didn't command his
fastball well within the strike zone. He's shown the ability to do it and
once he finds consistency, he could be ready to help out full time.

Betances has a three-pitch mix, with his fastball and curve grading out as
plus pitches. He throws in the mid-90s and uses his size to create a good
downhill plane. His power curve is outstanding, though he sometimes has
trouble throwing it for strikes. His changeup is behind those two, but it has
shown glimpses and at the very least will be an average third offering. His
command took a step backward in 2011, and he’ll need to harness his stuff a
bit better to have long-term success. He set a career high in innings in
2011, with the Yankees hopeful that he put his injury-riddled past behind him.

Like his former organization mate, Jesus Montero, Sanchez is an
offensive-minded backstop, but he's still on the bottom rungs of the Yanks'
system. Sanchez does have some defensive ability, with a plus arm and
glimpses of other skills in the past. In 2011, though, it looks like his
glovework overall took a step backward. Sanchez's bat should help him
advance, with above-average raw power and the potential to be an excellent
all-around hitter. He's still very young, so even if he has to start the year
back in the South Atlantic League, at age 19, he has plenty of time to turn
things around.

A toolsy outfielder signed out of high school in 2010, Williams started to

hitter who can hit for average and should mature into more power, he has a
better idea in terms of an approach than many hitters his age. He has plus

He has everything he needs to be an above-average defensive center fielder.

Campos, who joined the Yankees’ organization along with Michael Pineda in
the trade with the Mariners for Jesus Montero and Hector Noesi, made his U.S.
debut in 2011 a stirring one, going to the advanced short-season Northwest
League before he turned 19 and promptly leading the circuit in ERA and

very good curve, and he’s developing a changeup as well. Even though he’ll

for pitching and he might move more quickly than one would think.

When the Yankees needed a catcher late in 2011, they called up Romine to

Seattle, leaving Romine as the best upper-level catching prospect in the
system. He might not have the pure bat of a Montero, but he can hit and has
raw power, though he’s been inconsistent offensively. He’s much steadier
defensively than his former organization mate, showing good agility and hands

very steady all-around backstop.

Defensively, he’s solid at shortstop with an excellent arm, and he has good

Very quietly, Warren has made quick work of the Yankees’ system, pitching

The young Dominican outfielder reached Double-A for the first time and upped
