Down on the farm: Outfielder Terrmel Sledge is having a phenomenal year for
Triple-A Edmonton. He leads the team in hitting (.335), home runs (10), RBIs
(41) and runs scored (38). His best season prior to 2003 was for Class-A
Lancaster in 2000, when he led the California League in batting with a .339
average.
Did you know?: Mark Grudzielanek was the last member of the Expos to collect
five hits in a game. Grudzielanek's great game occurred on May 8, 1998
against the Colorado Rockies.
