Gammons 再度放炮....（我看他根本就是 MLB的張有華）

Gammons 在廣播中表示在 Bora$提出五年合約的提議後, 球隊目前似乎已經放棄簽回
Varitek , 可能會用 Youkilis 跟 Mientkiewicz 去交換 Brian Schneider擔任下季
的正捕手, 附上 Rotoworld的報導:

According to ESPN's Peter Gammons, the Red Sox have given up on re-signing
Jason Varitek and are talking to the Expos about acquiring Brian Schneider.

It could just be a negotiating tactic. Varitek's contract demands will
eventually become more reasonable, as no team out there is going to be
willing to give him a five-year deal. If the Red Sox do decide to move on,
Gammons says they hope to acquire Schneider, probably the game's best
defensive catcher right now, in exchange for Kevin Youkilis and Doug
Mientkiewicz. Doing so would free up money for them to pursue Carl Pavano
or Troy Glaus.
