The Washington Nationals today signed third-round selection Stephen King, a
shortstop from Winter Park (FL) High School, from the 2006 First-Year Player
Draft. The Nationals have now signed seven of their top eight picks from the
2006 draft. Nationals Assistant General Manager and Vice President/Baseball
Operations Mike Rizzo and Director of Amateur Scouting Dana Brown made the
joint announcement.
