RHP Brian Bruney has passed through waivers. He will make a decision Sat. on
whether he will become a free agent or go to Triple-A Syracuse

I just spoke to RHP Brian Bruney and he said that he is going to refuse the
assignment to Triple-A Syracuse.

RHP Brian Bruney said he believes that he has the track record to continue to
be a Major League pitcher.
