1. Wang unravels in fifth as Nats' streak ends

Uggla was the next hitter, though, and he hit a three-run homer to make it
6-0. Manager Davey Johnson questioned Wang's pitch selection. Instead of
throwing his sinker, which is his bread-and-butter pitch, Wang threw a slider.

"[Wang] handled him pretty good with his sinker," Johnson said. "So better
pitch selection more than anything else. ... [Uggla] hit into a double play
with his sinker [in the third inning]. ... If you are going to get beat, go
strength to strength. ... Getting those four runs in that inning was a
bone-crusher. "

But the 31-year-old right-hander did himself in during the fifth inning,
beginning with a throwing error on counterpart Brandon Beachy's easy
comebacker. That allowed the inning to continue and set the stage for Uggla
to crush a 2-2 slider for a three-run homer.

That fateful pitch was met with some wrath from manager Davey Johnson, who
wished Wang threw his bread-and-butter sinker, not the slider, in that spot.

"I mean, he had a good sinker," Johnson said. "He was getting a lot of
groundballs. You show [the slider], but you make it bounce. You don't leave
that waffle ball right out over the plate. ... In that situation, if you're
going to get beat, go strength to strength. That's part of, I guess, coming
back after a long layoff."

Catcher Jesus Flores said he was trying to get Wang to throw that slider way
down in the zone, hoping Uggla would chase it. Instead, it hung right over
the plate, "and we paid for it."

從第一篇看起來 Davey 對王的投球選擇似乎不是很滿意。不過從第二篇文章
來看，這顆滑球也有可能是 Flores 配的。

先說好，我發這篇文的目的，不是為了要另闢戰場。只是我對於台媒一面倒
責怪 Flores 的配球這點感到厭煩，想說必須做些澄清。當然也可能是我個
人誤解了這幾句話的意思，如果是這樣，歡迎推文指正。

Anyway，事情都過去了，不管這顆滑球是王的決定還是 Flores 配的都不是
很重要，下一場投回來就行了。所以別戰配球了，期待下一場比賽 (〞︶〝*)

推 tw54585:狀況不好原因大多了 配球頂多輔助用 根本不必太在意
推 littlegreen:反正找出問題後要解決(不過 那也是建仔和捕手之間)
