Chase Headley, Sandy Leon meet the day after their collision

Headley和Leon在本壘衝撞後見了面

(Haraz N. Ghanbari - AP) Chase Headley walked down the hallway from the
visitor’s clubhouse at Nationals Park toward the Padres’ idling team bus,
dressed in a suit and ready to move on to a new city. First, he spotted
someone he wanted to talk to outside the Nationals clubhouse.

Sandy Leon stood there, with his right foot wrapped in a large, black boot
and resting on a rolling contraption. Monday night, Leon suffered a
high-ankle sprain in his major league debut after Headley plowed into him.
Leon said he could return from the injury four weeks. Both teams agreed the
play had been clean.

Leon腳上還有一大塊瘀青。星期一晚上Leon在他的MLB Debut被Headley在本壘衝撞而
扭傷了右腳踝。他表示這傷得要4週才會好。兩隊都同意這不是惡意衝撞。

Headley walked up to Leon and extended his hand. Leon shook it. Headley
apologized. Leon nodded and smiled. They chatted for a moment. Headley
slapped Leon on the shoulder, and Leon said, “Thank you.” The moment
passed. Headley walked away and boarded the bus.

Headley走向Leon並伸出了他的手。Leon跟他握手。Headley跟他道歉。
Leon點了點頭並向他微笑。兩人交談了一會兒，Headley拍拍Leon的肩膀，
Leon說:"謝謝你"。Headley搭上巴士離開。
