AMSTERDAM, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Feyenoord's Swedish striker Johan Elmander
has signed for a season on loan to NAC Breda, another Dutch first division
team. Elmander, 22, capped six times for his country, returned to Feyenoord
in July after 10 months on loan with Stockholm team Djurgarden. NAC Breda
finished fourth in the Dutch league last season. Feyenoord were third.
The Swede could make his debut for NAC Breda in a friendly against Real
Zaragoza on Friday night.
"Feyenoord wants to ensure the striker gets as much playing experience
as possible this season," Feyenoord said on its official website.
Feyenoord have extended Elmander's contract until 2005. He joined the
Rotterdam club in 2000.
